Ethiopian Jews Arrives In Israel

Seventy-two Ethiopian Jews arrived at Tel Aviv airport this Thursday night, the first wave of immigration from Ethiopian since the late 80’s.

More than 200 families went to the airport to support and welcome the new Israelis to their new (old) land.

The renewed Ethiopian aliyah program has been a collaborative effort of the Jewish Agency for Israel and the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem (ICEJ), a Christian Zionist global ministry.

Now, the new citizens will need all the support to adjust their new reality, as they connect to their roots again, with their religion and their promised land.
